At Keyhole Software, we are huge proponents of the benefits of open source software. Our team members enjoy contributing their creations to the development community. This week we are excited to announce the completion of an open source report writing framework for Spring Batch.

This project enables the creation of PDF line break reports using the Spring Batch Framework. This report writing framework provides an easy and less complex way to create PDF column reports with totals, subtotals, and grouping capabilities within Spring Batch. The project is posted on Github for easy collaboration and use, and may be viewed here.

A big thanks to David Pitt and Jonny Hackett on the Keyhole Software team for their contributions to this open source project.
