Keyhole Software has opened access to the example application presented during the recent, successful Spring Batch Breakfast Boost educational seminar.

The Spring Batch Breakfast Boost event functioned to educate the public on batch processing programs and how they are implemented with the Spring Batch framework. Presenter David Pitt leveraged both his own hands-on experience and an example application to get attendees over the learning curve associated with the adoption of the technology.

At the request of multiple attendees, the example application presented during the seminar has been pushed to GitHub to foster additional hands-on training with Spring Batch technology. The example application specifically implements two Spring Batch Jobs that read and write from flat files and an in-memory (HSQL) relational database, with an admin console.

This free presentation was held in Kansas City, Mo. on Dec. 5, 2012 and in Chicago, Ill. on Dec. 13, 2012. The breakfast boost included a technology overview and expert Question & Answer sessions by Keyhole Software Managing Partner David Pitt.
