After three months of full-filled competition, another year of Kansas City Corporate Challenge is behind us. Since 2017, Keyhole Software has proudly participated in the KCCC games. We initially joined the challenge because of how it aligned with our culture but ended up falling in love with the camaraderie, competition, and collaboration that came along with this local event.
What Is Kansas City Corporate Challenge?
Founded in 1980, KCCC is the country’s oldest and largest corporate games. They promote health, wellness, and camaraderie by presenting participants with physical endeavors designed to challenge bodies and minds through the spirit of corporate competition.
The annual, citywide competition begins every April with weekly events through June. With more than 30,000 participants, KC Corporate Challenge unites organizations of all sizes across the metro in the spirit of friendly competition, participating in athletic events from weightlifting, to track and field, to swimming, table tennis, horseshoes, and everything in between.
Not only does KCCC bring local businesses and corporations together, each year they donate a portion of the proceeds through their partnership with Special Olympics Kansas City Metro. Giving back to the community is important to Keyhole and participating in KCCC is just another way we are able to give back to the city so close to our hearts.
