For those of you who follow us on the social media channels, you may have noticed that every Friday Keyhole Software posts about Chili Friday (#chilifriday). This has quickly become a weekly tradition in the Kansas City office, with many of our client-site-based consultants visiting  the corporate office just for the occasion. Some cooks have even become over-achievers and, in addition to chili, have also brought in another type of soup to provide variety.

Although many of our employees have widely differing views on the spiciness a chili should have, something that we’ve all come to agree on is that this recipe (below) is absolutely amazing. Considering this week’s cook, John Boardman, is in the process of learning to cook, he absolutely blew us away with this recipe:

Boardman Chowder

4 cans (10 3/4 ounces) cream of potato soup
2 cups Vegetable broth
2 cups milk
8 ears of corn
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp dried thyme

Cook the corn and cut off the cob. Combine everything in a crock pot. Cook on LOW 4-5 hours.

OPTION: Add a couple cans of chicken or a couple cups of cooked diced chicken breast. Diced red pepper can also be added.

Happy Chili Friday from Keyhole Software!
