1. TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED AND MANNER OF USE

Personal information is any data that can be used to identify or contact a single person. If you visit a website, your IP address will be saved through the use of Cookies (find out more about cookies below). You can remove cookies from your computer or device, by clearing your browsing history and caching (see how to do this below).

If you opted into our mailing list you may receive the occasional email on important news or service information. You have the right to opt out at any time and have any details removed, please email asktheteam@keyholesoftware.com.

Personal Information

We do not generally collect information that personally identifies you (“Personal Information”) unless you choose to provide it to us through the website (for example, by completing the online information request form to start a new project or sending an e-mail message). The Personal Information you submit is used to respond to your question or request, as permitted by this Privacy Policy or by law, and as necessary to comply with the law.

We will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your express permission, or are required by law to do so.

Traffic Data

Traffic Data is information that does not, standing alone, personally identify you but is helpful for marketing purposes or for improving your experience on the website. We use Traffic Data to collect information at an aggregate level about the visiting and use of this website and to make the use of this website more enjoyable to our users. We may combine Traffic Data with Personal Information we obtain from you directly through the website or otherwise, including from third parties.

We may track and collect certain general and non-personal information when you visit the website, including, without limitation, your: (a) IP address, mobile device ID or other persistent identifier; (b) referrer information about how you visited the website (e.g., how you got to the website – was it by a Google search, by direct navigation, etc.) and how you used the website (e.g., time of visit, areas of the website that you visited); (c) your connection speed and type; (d) type and version of your web browser or mobile device; and (e) your operating system and other system parameters and machine configuration (collectively, “Traffic Data”).

Our website uses Google Analytics, a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States. Google Analytics does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and webpage usage. All users have the option to opt-out of Google Analytics cookies altogether by using this Google Analytics Opt-Out Add-on.

Our website also uses Jetpack. With it, Jetpack tracks post and page views, outbound link clicks, referring URLs and search engine terms, and country.  Important: The site owner does not have access to any of this information via this feature. For example, a site owner can see that a specific post has 285 views, but he/she cannot see which specific users/accounts viewed that post. Stats logs — containing visitor IP addresses and WordPress.com usernames (if available) — are retained by Automattic for 28 days and are used for the sole purpose of powering this feature.

3. LIMITED SHARING OF INFORMATION

We share Your Personal Information and Traffic Data with our or employees as necessary or convenient in connection with the provision of the website to you. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, we share your Personal Information and/or Traffic Data (a) with those people, including our affiliates’ employees, agents, and contractors, who need this information to respond to your online information request form you submit; (b) with third parties that provide support, marketing advertising, or other services to or on behalf of Keyhole; and (c) as otherwise permitted by law from time to time. In the event that all or substantially all of our business or assets are sold or transferred to another party, all Personal Information that has been collected and saved may be one of the business assets we transfer.
