A Keyhole consultant supported a cloud computing and managed hosting provider as part of a small, agile delivery team responsible for integrating internal services with a multi-cloud management platform. The platform abstracted multiple cloud providersโ€”including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloudโ€”requiring careful architectural design to ensure scalability, reliability, and operational clarity.

The consultant played a leading role in AWS infrastructure design, helping the client adopt and effectively use AWS Lambda and AWS Step Functions as they expanded into serverless architectures. This included designing and implementing event-driven, serverless services using Node.js on AWS Lambda, orchestrated through AWS Step Functions to manage complex workflows across distributed systems.

In addition to infrastructure work, the engagement included development of Python-based backend services and contributions to an AngularJS frontend, enabling seamless integration between internal systems and the multi-cloud platform. The team leveraged the Serverless Framework to standardize deployments and accelerate iteration while maintaining operational consistency.

This engagement helped the client strengthen its cloud platform capabilities, adopt modern serverless patterns, and build internal confidence around scalable, multi-cloud architecture using AWS-native services.
